Meditation
I just finished the introductory course of Sam Harris' Waking Up meditation app.
I have tried mediation here and there, but never stuck with it as well as I have with the help of Waking Up. I simply think any time we an get a short block of uninterrupted quiet time in our day, that is a good thing. Having a "course" and being guided through it is helpful to me.
The primary way I know it is working for me is that the 10-minute sessions fly by. It really feels like time traveling. In the past, I would be anxiously awaiting a timer to go off, or peeking to see how much time had past.
It truly feels like mindfulness when time falls by the wayside.
