Cursive
Speaking of old things, I have started doing some writing in cursive. I have been keeping a bullet journal for about six months. But I have terrible handwriting, and I don't love looking at my own writing!
The bullet journal has been incredible for me, particularly the daily tasks list. I'm also drawn to the aesthetics of the system. The stationary, the pen, the dot-grid pages, the symbols and marks, etc. But my handwriting detracts from it.
I was writing my name in cursive with my kids, and it struck me – why not use cursive in my journal? So I gave it a shot.

I had to print out a small cursive alphabet cheatsheet to keep with my journal, which I have had to refer to a lot. It's been a long time since elementary school! But I am enjoying it. My cursive is not beautiful or perfect, but it is more appealing.
I'm getting more fluid and referring to my cheatsheet less. Almost like being back in fourth grade! Just don't expect me to start trying to remember how to do long division.
